Bird Talk Chicken

First I’ll say, that the chicken is amazing, the flavor is amazing and chicken is very tender. On this trip we got the original chicken sandwich and the spicy. The spicy had ghost pepper In it, which had an amazing flavor, but definitely made me sweat. We loaded our fries/ tater tots, which added chives and cheddar cheese. Which sounds amazing, on this occasion they over cooked both tots and fries. Parking is plenty, and their service is ok. Their soda machine was not working, so we only had three choices of fountain drinks. No Coca Cola, and the sodas tasted flat. Their dipping sauces were good, but I felt it needed a little more flavor. But I still think it deserves a look over, maybe your experience will be better.

Really good food made fresh to order. I was surprised at how spicy the “mild” Nashville sandwich was... can’t even imagine how spicy the “hot” version would be. The Original sandwich was delicious! It got kind of dry in the middle because the chicken breast was SO HUGE, but the honey mustard sauce was the perfect topping to moisten it up. The loaded tots were yummy with huge pieces of bacon but kind of salty.

Ordered wings, sandwich, chicken and waffles, and Mac and cheese. The wings were great!!! The chicken and waffles not so great, the chicken looked old and burnt tasted horribly. The Mac and cheese was cold and hard like it wasn’t cooked through completely. Waffles were cold. To end with a positive note the loaded tots were good.. but definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Chicken sandwich and tender focused spot that’s currently open for takeout & outdoor dining during covid. You can order at the counter and pay before receiving your food. There’s an automated voice (kinda like the DMV) that calls out your number once your order is ready. Single use bathrooms are available in the back. Parking is available in the lot, and though it’s small, people come in and out frequently. Food-wise, everything was super tasty and on point. The spicy sandwich was actually spicy and came with ghost peppers. You get a choice of a sauce and I opted for the Cajun thousand island, which was a bright magenta sauce that helped stave the heat of the sandwich. The bread was soft and there was an even layer of crispy batter around the chicken. The loaded tots were also equally crispy and came with melted cheese, bacon bits, and green onions. The loaded fries are the same save for the crinkle cut fries. Shout out to the employees who were efficient and still found the time to come out and check if we needed anything. Overall, there seemed to be a steady hum of people come to grab their fried chicken, and it’s easy to see why. The food is great and the prices are reasonable.
